As unbelievable as it may seem after a very busy summer here on the farm, September is just around the corner.  Dusk is noticeably earlier, mornings have been misty of late and the leaves are turning.  Autumn is a sight to behold in the Black Mountains, and as much as we'll miss the sun, we can't help but feel excited about the gastronomic opportunities that the latter part of the year presents.  Stews, curries, casseroles, in fact slow cooking in any form is pretty much off the table during the summer so it's time to dust of those big pans and get simmering.  In the run up to our Autumn Edition boxes being released, keep an eye on our social media feeds for news about the boxes and inspirational ideas for how to cook at this time of year.  You might even spot a woolly jumper or two.....
